Welcome to Hopeful Hands Press. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, online store, digital products, free downloads, and any products or services purchased from us.
Hopeful Hands Press is a trade name used by Rakstad Forge LLC, an Iowa limited liability company based in Urbandale, Iowa, USA. In these Terms, “Hopeful Hands Press,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Rakstad Forge LLC doing business as Hopeful Hands Press.
By using our website, downloading our content, subscribing to our newsletter, placing an order, or purchasing a product from us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy, and our Returns and Refunds Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.
1. Website and Store Use
Our website is intended for adults who are interested in purchasing, downloading, or learning about Hopeful Hands Press products. Although some of our products may be created for children or families, the website and online store are intended to be used by adults.
You agree not to use our website or products for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized purpose. You also agree not to interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the website.
At this time, our store is intended for guest checkout only. If customer accounts are added in the future, additional account-related terms may apply.
2. Products
Hopeful Hands Press sells books and may offer eBooks, downloadable PDFs, printable materials, free samples, bundles, promotional downloads, custom products, or other related products.
We try to describe our products accurately, including book descriptions, cover images, formats, page counts, trim sizes, pricing, and availability. However, we do not guarantee that all product descriptions, images, or other content will be error-free, complete, current, or perfectly representative of the final product.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, change product availability, change prices, or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.
3. Religious Content
Many Hopeful Hands Press products are religious in nature and focus on the Christian faith. By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge that product content may include Christian themes, scripture references, religious imagery, devotional concepts, or faith-based messages.
Product descriptions are intended to help customers determine whether a product is appropriate for their household, classroom, church, ministry, organization, or intended use.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete billing, shipping, and contact information. You are responsible for reviewing your order, shipping address, and product selections before completing checkout.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for any reason, including but not limited to payment issues, suspected fraud, product unavailability, fulfillment limitations, shipping restrictions, pricing errors, technical errors, or violations of these Terms.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the purchase price and any shipping charges collected for the cancelled portion of the order.
5. Payments and Pricing
All prices are currently listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices, discounts, bundles, promotional offers, and product availability may change at any time.
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors and ecommerce service providers. By placing an order, you agree to comply with any applicable payment provider terms. Hopeful Hands Press does not intentionally collect or store full credit card numbers outside the secure checkout process.
You are responsible for any taxes, fees, currency conversion charges, or other charges that may apply to your purchase, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
6. Promotions, Bundles, and Special Offers
We may offer promotions, discounts, bundles, coupon codes, free samples, subscriber-only offers, or other special offers from time to time.
Promotions may be subject to additional terms, eligibility requirements, expiration dates, quantity limits, or product restrictions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any promotion at any time.
Some free promotions may be available only to newsletter subscribers or other eligible recipients. Newsletter and personal data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not currently plan to offer gift cards. If gift cards are offered in the future, additional terms may apply.
7. Physical Books and Fulfillment
Physical products may be printed on demand and fulfilled by third-party fulfillment partners. Because products may be produced after an order is placed, production and shipping may require additional time.
Any delivery dates, shipping windows, production estimates, or arrival estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Shipping and delivery may be affected by production schedules, carrier delays, weather, holidays, customs processing, incorrect addresses, shipping restrictions, fulfillment partner availability, or other factors outside our control.

8. International Orders
We may sell internationally where supported by our store, fulfillment partners, and shipping carriers.
International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country or shipping carrier. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated at checkout.
International delivery times may vary and may be affected by customs processing, import rules, local delivery practices, and regional restrictions.
9. Incorrect Shipping Addresses
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.
If you notice an address error after placing an order, contact us immediately at support@hopefulhandspress.com. We will try to help correct the issue, but because many products are printed and shipped on demand, there may be only a very short window in which changes can be made. We cannot guarantee that address changes can be made after an order has entered production, fulfillment, or shipping.
Orders delayed, lost, returned, or delivered incorrectly because of an inaccurate or incomplete shipping address may not be eligible for refund or replacement, except where required by law or stated in our Shipping Policy.
10. Special Address Types and Delivery Restrictions
Certain address types, including PO boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, correctional facilities, military addresses, remote locations, or international destinations, may be subject to special restrictions, carrier limitations, required delivery methods, longer transit times, or additional rules.
We reserve the right to cancel or decline orders that cannot be reasonably fulfilled because of destination restrictions, carrier limitations, fulfillment partner restrictions, legal restrictions, or other delivery issues.
11. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements
All sales are final unless otherwise stated in our Shipping Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy, or required by law.
We do not accept returns or provide refunds for personal taste issues, changes of mind, buyer’s remorse, ordering mistakes, or dissatisfaction with the subject matter, style, religious content, format, or creative direction of a product.
Damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing physical orders may be eligible for replacement as described in our Shipping Policy. Customers must report eligible issues within the time period stated in the Shipping Policy, which is currently 25 days from the applicable shipment or delivery date, and may be required to provide photos or other documentation.
Shipping charges are not typically refundable. If Hopeful Hands Press cancels an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the purchase price and any shipping costs collected for the cancelled portion of the order.
Signed, personalized, custom, limited edition, clearance, special order, digital, downloadable, and promotional products are final sale unless otherwise stated or required by law.
12. Digital Products and Downloads
Hopeful Hands Press may offer paid or free digital products, including eBooks, downloadable PDFs, printable materials, sample pages, activity sheets, coloring pages, promotional files, or other digital content.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, digital products are provided under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, household use only. Purchasing, downloading, or receiving a digital product does not transfer ownership of the copyright or any intellectual property rights.
Paid digital products may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded, posted publicly, shared outside your household, used commercially, modified for redistribution, incorporated into another product, or made available through file-sharing services, public websites, social media, school portals, shared drives, artificial intelligence tools, or other public or semi-public systems.
You may print paid digital products for your own personal or household use, unless a product page or license states otherwise. You may share paid digital products within your household, but you may not provide copies to people outside your household without written permission or an applicable institutional, educational, church, business, or group license.
Paid digital products are final sale and are not refundable once delivered, downloaded, or made available to you, except where required by law or where we are unable to provide access after reasonable support efforts.

13. Free Samples and Promotional Downloads
Hopeful Hands Press may provide free samples or promotional downloads for marketing, preview, educational, or public-use purposes.
Unless a free sample or promotional download includes different terms, you may download, view, print, and share the free sample for personal, household, church, school, or promotional review purposes, provided that you do not sell it, charge for access to it, remove or alter copyright notices, remove or alter trademarks, remove or alter metadata, modify the original file, falsely claim ownership, or use it in a misleading or unlawful way.
Free samples may be redistributed only if the original file, images, copyright notices, trademarks, and metadata remain intact and unmodified.
Some free promotions may be offered only to newsletter subscribers or other eligible recipients. Subscriber-only downloads or promotions may not be shared outside the eligible recipient group unless the promotion specifically allows broader sharing.
14. Coloring Pages, Activity Pages, and User-Created Images
Some Hopeful Hands Press products may include coloring pages, activity pages, printable illustrations, or similar creative materials.
You may post photos or images of pages that you or members of your household have colored or completed, provided that the post does not include a clean, uncolored, printable, or otherwise reusable copy of the original page or file.
You may not post, upload, share, or distribute original uncolored pages, printable files, clean line art, unmodified activity pages, or paid downloadable content in a way that allows others to copy, download, print, reuse, or redistribute the underlying Hopeful Hands Press content.
15. Institutional, Educational, Church, Business, and Group Licensing
Schools, teachers, churches, ministries, libraries, nonprofits, businesses, and other organizations that want to make copies, distribute materials to a group, use products in a classroom or ministry setting, or otherwise use Hopeful Hands Press content beyond personal or household use must obtain an appropriate license unless the product expressly allows that use.

16. Intellectual Property
All Hopeful Hands Press books, artwork, illustrations, text, designs, downloads, digital files, product descriptions, logos, trademarks, trade names, characters, series names, cover designs, website content, and other creative materials are owned by Hopeful Hands Press, Rakstad Forge LLC, or their respective rights holders unless otherwise noted.

Purchasing a physical book, downloading a digital product, receiving a free sample, or accessing our website does not transfer copyright, trademark rights, reproduction rights, distribution rights, resale rights, public display rights, public performance rights, adaptation rights, or any other intellectual property rights.

18. Custom Orders and Special Projects
Hopeful Hands Press may consider custom orders, personalized projects, special editions, or negotiated projects on a case-by-case basis.
Custom orders are not available at fixed prices or fixed delivery schedules unless agreed in writing. Any custom project, special order, personalized product, licensing arrangement, or negotiated project must be confirmed in a separate written agreement before Hopeful Hands Press is obligated to begin work.
Custom orders and special projects are final sale unless otherwise stated in the applicable written agreement or required by law.
19. Third-Party Marketplaces, Retailers, and Platforms
Hopeful Hands Press products may also be available through third-party marketplaces, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, print providers, or other platforms.
Purchases made through third-party platforms are governed by the policies, terms, pricing, shipping rules, return rules, refund rules, customer service procedures, and privacy practices of those third parties. We are not responsible for third-party platform policies, delays, pricing, availability, errors, or customer service decisions.
These Terms apply to purchases and downloads made directly through the Hopeful Hands Press website unless otherwise stated.

The arbitrator, and not a court, may have authority to resolve disputes about the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration provision, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary, preliminary, or emergency injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights, confidential information, security interests, or to prevent unauthorized use or distribution of Hopeful Hands Press content.
30. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to any applicable arbitration or small-claims provisions, the parties agree that disputes arising out of or related to these Terms, the website, or purchases from Hopeful Hands Press will be brought in the state or federal courts located in or serving Polk County, Iowa, unless applicable law requires a different venue.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above.
The version posted on our website at the time of your use or purchase will govern that use or purchase unless otherwise required by law. Continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
